About Us

FOARN

FOARN are a five-piece alternative rock band from Stoke-on-Trent, in the West Midlands, UK. The lineup features Levi Knapper (vocals), Alex Grocock (guitar), Kieran Matthews (guitar), Nathan Petherick (bass), and Ash Clay (drums).

Formed in late 2023, the members brought together their experience from previous music projects, united by a shared passion for live performance.

Over the past year, FOARN have honed their craft, releasing three singles in early 2025 — Wild Skies, Games, and Lights — all recorded during a week at Liverpool’s renowned Whitewood Studios. Operated by Robert Whitely and Daniel Woodward, Whitewood has worked with leading contemporary artists including Miles Kane and The Wombats.

The band’s first full project as a collective, Foarn, is set for release on August 15th, 2025. This milestone follows a year of major achievements, including:

  • Supporting The Twang at the Boothen Quarter
  • Headlining Lymelight Festival
  • Collaborating with Stoke City Football Club on the signing announcement of Stephen Nzonzi
